Stephenson passed away unexpectedly on Sun, Jan 5, 2020, just a few weeks shy of his 22nd birthday. An autopsy is pending, but we have been advised that we may never know the cause. He experienced many challenges in his life, but he was a light of persistence, focus, and enthusiasm through all of it. Many of those challenges are topics of research by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (details below). Thank you for your support at this time and for considering a donation to this cause.

100% of every dollar donated for research is invested in our research grants. Our operating expenses are covered by separate foundation grants.
