Schizophrenia Research

Support Me

The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is the world's leading private funder of mental health research.  Since 1987 they have awarded over $346 million to fund over 4,000 researchers including Nobel Prize winners, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and MIT.  100% of donations go to research with no administrative fees since two family foundations cover all operating expenses.  Donations from our tribute will specifically support schizophrenia research.

Schizophrenia affects 1% of the population and there is currently no cure.  The treatments for schizophrenia today are the same treatments used in the 1950s, with little innovation in drug development.

Recent breakthroughs could be the thing that changes everything.   With genomic tehnology, for the first time teams are beginning to understand many of the players at the molecular and cellular level.  The new findings have the potential to kick-start the development of new treatments, a process which has stalled for the last 60 years:

The Brain and Behavior Resarch Foundation is an accredited 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.  All donations are tax-deductible.  A receipt will be provided via email.

Thank you for you're time and consideration.  The more attention and support schizophrenia campaigns get, the closer we are to finding a cure. :)

03/29/2016 Update: Thank you to everyone for you're generous donations so far!! :)  I really appreciate it.  Even the $1 and $5 donations can really add up and make a huge difference towards finding a cure!  :).  BTW....a couple people have told me that this website was having some problems this week on the donation page.  Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

03/31/2016: Website fixed!
