As someone who has experienced mental disorders in my own family, I know the devastating effects it causes not only to our loved ones, but our families, friends and associates. This is why I strongly support the organization and its campaign to raise funds to increase the number and amount of grants to scientists who are working to alleviate the suffering of those who have mental disorders.
I have a personal goal of helping to raise $30,000 by October 25th in time for the 25th Annual New York Mental Health Research Symposium.
