Hi everyone,

My name is Emilie Myers, and it is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the sudden passing of my brother Marc on February 28th, 2017, after a long and difficult battle with mental illness. We have created this memorial page and campaign, with the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation, in order to raise awareness and funds for the research on mental illness, including depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. My family and I believe that this is the best way for you, as a family member, friend, acquaintance, or stranger to give back and honour Marc's life, as he would never have wanted others to suffer the way he did. We have so many loved ones across the world who will not be able to attend the viewing or the funeral, or give condolences in person, and we want you to feel that you can make an impact on our lives and honour Marc's life. Any amount of money you are willing to donate is greatly appreciated, and I want to thank you for your generosity and love during this difficult time.
