Our amazing son and kind hearted brother, Christopher, lost his battle to depression on November 9th, 2017 at age 26. Most people were unaware that he had depression and how much he actually suffered throughout the years. Even as his family, we never realized the degree of depression that he was dealing with.

Our hope is that others can be spared from the agony of depression and suicide by further brain research. Christopher might have been more likely to believe a visual proof of his depression. A visual result, like a brain scan could help sufferers and family members to take the disease more serious and take precautionary actions with specific medications and therapy. It's "not just in your head" it's specifically the composition of your brain, the one you're born with or has been traumatized. Please help us further this research.
